Schedule of barge (inter-island vessel) trips: Cebu (Toledo) to Negros Occidental (San Carlos) and vice versa

Bacolod to Cebu Ceres bus trip via Lite Ferry (inter-island vessel or barge)Inter-island travel between Cebu and Negros islands is made possible with barges or inter-island vessels where the Ceres buses (and container vans, trucks or private vehicles) are loaded.

The ports of destination are Toledo City in Eastern Cebu and San Carlos City in the Northwestern part of Negros Island. Travel time is about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on sea and weather condition.

Barge Accommodation and Fare:
Business Class = Php200
(front section, air-conditioned room)
Tourist Class = Php190 (rear section, air-conditioned room)
Standard Class = Php180 (bunk beds at upper level, non air-con area)
Economy Class = Php170 (seats, non air-con area)

Notes:
Be on board at least one hour before departure.
Prepare terminal fee of Php12.00 at port of departure.

    Audrey, the travel time from San Carlos to Bacolod is about 2.5 hours via Don Salvador Benedicto, which is the shorter and more scenic mountain route.

    There is another route from Bacolod passing through Silay, Victorias, Sagay, etc. until you reach San Carlos but that would take longer and I’m not sure about the travel duration, maybe an hour more than via the Salvador Benedicto route.

    grabe pud ka dugay na aning mga schedule inyong gi post. imagine, 2009 pa nga mga schedule…. wala man gani mo bag-ong sked cebu-kabankalan-bacolod via mabinay and vv, or cebu-dumaguete or hinobaan (kon naa). Unsaon man namo pag keep tract sa mga schedules ninyo kon dili mo ganahan mag-update sa inyo schedule dri sa internet. maayo pa di na lang mo mag post. kadako sa differensya sa mga trips ninyo….. huna huna daw? bisan gani inyong telephone number sa inyo terminal wala man gani….. unsa kahay maayo kon butangan pud ninyo telephon number para ma guided ang mga suking pasahero ninyo.

    Usa pa, kana bang dispatcher ninyo sa North Terminal nga na assign sa Cebu-Bacolod via Mabinay nga trip ninyo (2:00 o’clock am), labad man na nga tawo. dagko kaayo ang pangayo sa baggage sa mga pasahero. mo reklamo gani ang mga passenger, itudlo niya ang office kay mao man kuno ang nag boot sa charging. Murag dili mao no? try day daw tiktiki ninyo (mga dagko sa Ceres) para masakpan jud ninyo…. looy mga pasahero oi…
