When I know I’m going to rent a car, I pack along my GPS I use at home. It makes me feel much more secure navigating unknown streets. In terms of choosing agencies, I go for the ones with the best deals. Lately, there’s been the Jet and Drive Giveaway (link: http://tinyurl.com/jetanddrivesavings), and I’m supporting the promotion with JetBlue and Hertz. If you fly JetBlue and then rent with Hertz, you get a $25 savings certificate for your next rental. Seeing as how I love exploring new things, it’s great for people like me who like to have adventures on the road in a new place.
