Who would not dream of a Spanish holiday in Fuengirola?

Who would not dream of a Spanish holiday in Fuengirola?

I have visited Europe twice but haven’t been to Spain yet, and if I were to have a vacation in this land of the good-looking señoritos and pretty señoritas, I would like to choose a known tourist destination on the Costa del SolFuengirola, a town located in the province of Malaga, which is just 25 kilometers from the Malaga International Airport. It has seven kilometers or five miles of wonderful sandy beaches stretching from west to east, or from the Sohail Castle to Torreblanca, and what a striking Mediterranean setting it makes.

Regarding holidays to Fuengirola, there are holiday villas, hotels, and sophisticated vacation houses for those seeking luxury accommodation. But if one chooses a less expensive lodge, he can opt to rent one to suit his budget from any of the various apartments, cottages, and rural country houses.

Aside from its fabulous beaches, there are also many bars and fine restaurants, and other places of interest. If you go for shopping, horseback riding, golfing, or just plain trekking along the countryside, this famous, bustling Andalucian town has many options to offer. Fun lovers can revel in their fiestas, theaters, concerts and other festivities, or enjoy in their ferias.

One popular attraction is Bioparc Fuengirola, the town’s unique zoo which is imaginative and creative in its features. It has no cages, one can get the feel of the wildlife out there in the real habitat of the animals, with only natural barriers, like bridges and rivers, yet he can be very near even ferocious animals like crocodiles and tigers behind safe bulletproof windows. It features also a “moonlight” area where one can watch some animals or birds late in the night.

Before it has become a busy tourist attraction, Fuengirola was just a small fishing village. Nowadays, it is considered as one of Spain’s travel destinations on the Costa del Sol region.
