Toys as trip essentials for kids

When kids travel with you, you can’t really blame them for bugging you about food or toys while you’re busy snapping away with your camera. They view things differently than we do and even the most magnificent castle or scenic landscape wouldn’t really interest them that much compared to a nearby burger or ice cream stall. I remember when my big sis and I went to the Satakunta Museum with her two kids tagging along. We were admiring the ancient artifacts while little R-jed was intimidated by the dimly lighted exhibition rooms and wax models on display.

I could very well understand now why they had to bring their teddies with them all the way from Finland. Bringing along their familiar toys give them some comfort during such a long trip. Educational toys are also fun for trips such as a magnet building set like the Dynamix Gears or Girlz Systems Core from MagNext. These are magnet toys that stimulate kids’ imagination and analytic skills with a lot of possibilities for construction and building in many forms. My nephew R-vin would surely enjoy playing with a magnet building set since he is fond of assembling parts of his model toy robots. You can check out more advanced magnetic toys from MagNext.

For those who will be traveling with kids, it’s not just enough to bring along some extra shirt, hankies, toiletries or food for them. Toys are also part of those trip essentials for kids. Thankfully, most airlines provide free toy kits for kids to keep them from getting bored during long flights. Small, portable and lightweight toys are the best for travel. It’s also good to bring along toys and reading materials that could keep them still and silent during the trip so they won’t be disturbing others, such as puzzles, coloring books and educational toys.8hgvpf
