On local festivals and holiday bazaars

Thumbnail image of outdoor art market in BerlinHoliday fairs, expos, shows, festivals, exhibits and bazaars are the usual events shoppers look forward to during the Christmas season. Most of these events are held, either indoors or outdoors, in wide open spaces and grounds. The many booths and stalls scattered around loaded with all sorts of consumer goods and attractions, plus the many shoppers walking by, create a festive mood and atmosphere. Live concerts and shows are usually featured in line with the event’s theme.

For outdoor events, this is where concession trailers become a big help to the vendor participants in the food industry. For instance there are bbq trailers that provide grilled food on the go, bringing one’s food business on the road. These trucks come with complete food preparation and kitchen facilities, making it easier for food vendors to go about bringing their business where the action is. Concession trailers are also great for catering services not just during regular local events but for special occasions such as outdoor weddings and reunions.

Planning for an upcoming trip to your dream destination? Whether it’s Bangkok, the “City of Angels,” Tampere, the “Manchester of the North,” or Prague, the “City of a Hundred Spires,” I have included below a simple travel widget you can use to help you easily find where to stay.

Sounds like a nice little time… I wish I was spending my holidays somewhere like this. I am hunkered down in freezing temperatures and snow!

I love going to local festivals, street markets, etc. I’m a total junkie for this kind of local fare. Meet the most lovely people.

happy New Year Carey, thanks for the visit. Yes, I do miss your posts, but I do understand if we can’t blog as much anymore as we used to before. Hope all is well.
